Hi Ashley, Does Disney offer any type of child care? My husband and I may want to go out to dinner on our own one evening. My children are ages 3 and 7. Thank you!

    Hi Lauren,

Thank you so much for your question! Let’s see if we can find a little pixie dust and help you plan a kid-free dinner with your husband.

Unfortunately, many of Walt Disney World Resort’s childcare options are still temporarily unavailable. One option currently available to you is Kid’s Nite Out, which I’ve heard many great things about. The Kid’s Nite Out childcare service offers childcare services, including in-room sitters at select Walt Disney World Collection Hotels. They are available 24 hours a day, and reservations can be made up to a year in advance. I reached out to the service today, and they shared that their service starts at a four-hour minimum, and they are currently only offering online reservations. Their current rates are available online.

In four hours, you can get a wonderful dinner at Magic Kingdom Park, find the perfect spot to watch Disney’s Enchantment (might I recommend one of my favorite spots on Main Street, U.S.A. near the middle of the street?) all before heading back to your resort.

I hope this option works for you and your family!

Let me know if there is anything else I can answer for you,

    Ashley F.
