    Hi Ashley! Thanks to your Anniversary advice, I'm thinking about taking DH and DS11 on a Sleigh Ride in Fort Wilderness as a suprise. Do you know if they are offered in late Nov.? Also, do you know the cost? We'll be there 11/24/12-12/1/12. LOVE yinz guys!

    Hello again Beth!

    I can tell you're a lady after my own black-and-gold football loving heart with that "yinz", right?

    The special sleigh rides at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are fantastic.  We are still awaiting word if the Holiday Sleigh Rides will be offered this year.  The Halloween carriage rides were discontinued and there has been no official announcement as to if the Holiday rides will follow suit.  

    In the past, the rides have cost $60 per group (up to four adults or two adults and three children under the age of nine).  Reservations can usually be made 180 days in advance at 407-WDW-PLAY.  However, as of this afternoon the recreation Cast Members were unable to take reservations.

    Carriage rides are also offered at Disney's Port Orleans-Riverside resort.  They are 25 minutes in length and cost $45.  Reservations can be made in advance at 407-WDW-PLAY.   Payment is made at the time of the experience (cash or room charge only).

    I am going to keep my eyes and ears open and try to keep track of the Holiday Sleigh Rides for you, Beth!  Please come back and see me again if you need any additional information.
