    Ashley, regarding a previous answer by you. For Guardians of the Galaxy 6PM virtual queue on extended evening days, do you need to have a Park Pass reservation for Epcot or can you park hop and still get on the virtual queue? Thanks.

     Welcome to planDisney, Jerry. I’m so glad you stopped by with this question! It’s my pleasure to help you prepare for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

     You are going to just love Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. It truly is an out-of-this-world experience! If you are a Guest of a Disney Deluxe Resort or a Disney Deluxe Villa Resort and you have the Park Hopper Option added to your theme park tickets, you do not need to have a Theme Park Reservation for EPCOT in order to join the virtual queue at 6:00 PM for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind on an evening that Extended Theme Park Hours are scheduled at EPCOT. Shew! That was a mouthful. Let’s say that you have a Theme Park Reservation at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on a day that Extended Theme Park Hours are scheduled for EPCOT. As long as you have entered Disney’s Hollywood Studios any time before park hopping to EPCOT, you are eligible to enjoy the Extended Theme Park Hours at EPCOT, and as a Guest of a Disney Deluxe Resort or a Disney Deluxe Villa Resort, you are eligible to join that additional virtual queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Even better, you don’t need to be in EPCOT to join that additional virtual queue! When my family joined the virtual queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind on an Extended Theme Park Hours evening, I completed the process on the My Disney Experience mobile app from our Disney Resort hotel room. It was super easy! 

     I encourage you to check out the Virtual Queues page on the Walt Disney World Resort website. There you’ll find easy-to-follow steps on how to join the virtual queue at daily distribution times. 

     Your late November visit is the perfect time to experience the holiday season at the Walt Disney World Resort. While you’re at EPCOT, be sure to catch a performance of Candlelight Processional at the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. This beautiful retelling of the traditional Christmas story is not to be missed!
