    Hi Ashley, a friend sent me to you. My husband and I will be staying at Shades of Green from 12/12-12/17. I'm not sure if we should purchase tickets through SofG, I see right now they have a 4d with hopper option or go with the Magic Your Way?

    Hello Michelle! 

    I'm so glad your friend sent you over to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  I've stayed at Shades of Green several times and have always had a wonderful experience.  It holds a special place in our hearts as my husband and I spent our honeymoon at the resort.

    Your best bet would be to purchase any tickets at Shades of Green when you arrive.  You will not need to pay tax on the tickets if purchased at the resort.  Disney's Armed Forces Salute tickets will give you four days of Park Hopper access, with the option to add the Water Parks Fun and More Option as well.  You can also purchase the Magic Your Way Stars and Stripes ticket for different lengths of stay.  Both types of tickets are available for purchase right at the resort.
     
    Which ticket you purchase will depend on your itinerary and when you arrive/depart.  If you have Advance Dining Reservations at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks on each day of your vacation, you'll need more than the four days of tickets the Armed Forces Salute tickets provide and you may want to price out the Magic Your Way Stars and Stripes tickets.

    If you do not have plans on your arrival and departure days, the Armed Forces Salute tickets will be perfect for your four full days of vacation time.  We typically spend our arrival day checking out our resort and grabbing a bite to eat at the Downtown Disney Area.  It's a great way to relax and get into vacation mode so you're ready to hit the parks the next day.
