Has Art of Animation started their Animation classes back up? If not, will they be opening them back up later this year?

Hi Brittney and welcome to planDisney!

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is one of our favorites!  The larger than life characters and the amazing details really make staying at this Disney Resort hotel extra magical.  I love to stay in the Lion King Suites and walk by Simba on Pride Rock each time I head to my room.

Art of Animation has some really fun activities and the Teach to Draw classes were one of them.  These drawing classes have not yet returned to the Resort, but that does not mean they won't eventually.  While I do not have any specifics on when or if they will return, I encourage you to keep checking back.  This was such a fun activity that my son especially loved to do.

If you're looking for animation classes and have a park day scheduled at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, head over to the Conservation Station for The Animation Experience.  We drew Pumba the last time we participated in the class and for someone who can't even draw a stick figure, my Pumba turned out pretty good!

If you or someone in your family is interested in animation, Cirque du Soleil's Drawn to Life in Disney Springs is perfect for you!  It is the only Cirque show that has collaborated with Walt Disney Animation Studios to literally bring drawings to life.  This colorful show will take your breath away with its stunts and beauty.  I highly recommend it!

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
