Art and Animation or All Star Resort? Is it worth the extra money to stay at Art and Animation? Which is closer to Chatham or Patterson apartments (daughter will be housing there for Disney College Program).

Hello Louise! I think that your best bet would be Disney's Art of Animation Resort for the following reasons:

*I looked up driving distances on Google from your daughter's apartment complex to the Art of Animation Resort and Disney's All-Star Resorts, and it appears that her apartment is closer to Art of Animation Resort.

*Some people are choosy about Disney Transportation bus routes to the theme parks. Art of Animation does not share a bus with other Walt Disney World Resorts, which means there are no other stops along the way. However, the three All-Star Resorts share a bus on off-peak times, so you might end up stopping a couple of times to pick up/drop off guests before you get to your resort or the park.

*Art of Animation has the largest Resort pool in all of Walt Disney World Resort! Enjoy some downtime relaxing at the pool.

*The rooms at Art of Animation are themed to Disney animated films. All-Star Resorts are themed to sports, music, or film. I find that the rooms at Art of Animation are more fun and festive.

*Although I have never personally eaten at the Art of Animation food court Landscape of Flavors, I have heard rave reviews from many of my fellow Moms Panelists.

I definitely think that Art of Animation is worth the extra money, even if only for the added convenience and theming it offers.

I hope this has helped, and if you need anything else, please ask.

    See ya real soon, Louise!

Meet the Panelist: Sarah, Indiana

I am a recent graduate from Ball State University and mother to my 5-year-old son. We love all things Disney and when we aren’t watching Disney films or planning our next vacation, we love to go to touring Disney shows. I also love to cook, listen to music, read books, and paint. With my experience planning vacations and navigating the parks from a single parent’s perspective, I hope to be able to add a little “pixie dust” to your vacation! Learn More About Sarah
