In the art of animation resort do you have to pay for the art classes or just go there for free without booking into the hotel?

Greetings from across the Pond, Penelope, and welcome to planDisney. This is the most magical place on the internet on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean (and the Pacific Ocean ) to answer Disney vacation planning questions.

Great news! As of today, Disney's Art of Animation Resort does offer limited drawing classes. Artists of Animation is the name of the class and it is housed in Animation Hall on Tuesdays from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Class size is limited so be there early. This offering may change by May 2024. In addition to Artists of Animation, you may catch the Wildlife Express Train to Rafiki's Planet Watch at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park for complimentary character sketches at The Animation Experience at Conservation Station.

planDisney Pro Tip: Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and Disney Parks Instagram page for the latest updates. They love highlighting the return of classic experiences and if you want to see something spectacular, get tickets for Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque du Soleil & Disney.

Penelope, Mickey, and the rest of the Fab Five and just waiting to see you next May. Please feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
