Is the Art of animation resort close to Epcot and Hollywood studios?

    Hi Linda,

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotels. I am absolutely amazed at the attention to details from some of the most beloved Disney movies such as Cars, Lion King and Little Mermaid. The Big Blue Pool is the largest on property and has state of the art technology where you can actually hear the music underwater! I also love the layout of the family suites, which are perfect for my family of five.

This resort is closer to Disney's Hollywood Studios than the other theme parks in terms of mileage. However, it is always good to keep in mind that because of the routes and highway system that Disney Transportation buses take, it could be a more direct ride to Disney's Animal Kingdom. I always recommend allowing about 30-40 minutes for transportation to and from the theme parks from any resort hotel to allow for traffic, wait time, and actual transportation. Here is a link to the Walt Disney World Resort interactive map system so that you can see and get a better understanding of the layout.
