Is Art of Animation or Port Orleans French Quarter Resort better for a toddler of 2 years, plus parents, grandparents and 2 more relatives?

Hiya Marisol, and a big warm welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you’re planning a truly pixie-dusted visit to the most magical place on earth, and I’m thrilled you’re already planning on staying inside the magic. There’s nothing like stepping into the magic and fully unplugging as soon as you check in. And the level of detail Disney resorts immerse you in is unparalleled; no matter which one you choose! So with all that in mind, let’s dive into your question!

Marisol, when you mentioned your 2-year-old Mouseketeer, I immediately want to say, Disney’s Art of Animation, hands down! But let’s play a little game of contrast and compare and make sure it’s what’s best for you and YOUR crew!

My family are big fans of both. But I have to say, when my kids were younger, Art of Animation was their all-time FAVORITE resort. I’ll never forget when my Disney’s Little Mermaid-obsessed daughter laid eyes on the three-story building-sized Ariel. She was in literal awe. And my son, a Cars fanatic, running around the mini replica of Carsland… they were both in literal heaven! There’s not much negative I can say about this resort. The theming is magical, the family suite options are wonderful for bigger families, and the vibes are definitely family-friendly!

Now, let’s take a look at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter. I have one word for you: Beignets! Nuff said, right? Yum! This resort is so quaint and beautiful. It really brings that NOLA atmosphere to life, with jazz clubs, amazing food, and beautiful grounds; the vibes are immaculate. It’s the smallest resort of the moderates, which makes it super easy to navigate, and for the adults in your group, it might be a better fit!

Honestly, you can’t go wrong with either choice, but I hope this helps you make your own pros and cons list of what you and your family hope to experience during your stay. And if you need any more tips or panning help, you know where to find us!

Wishing you animated dreams and jazzy wishes! See ya real soon,
