Hey David and, welcome to planDisney. I am so glad you stopped by with this question about my family's favorite and most visited
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels: Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort.
We like our space and the best part about getting two rooms is that you get double the bathrooms. Both
Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort (Little Mermaid rooms only) do offer connecting rooms (rooms with an interior door that opens directly into the next room) as we have requested many times. The thing to know is that you can request them but you are not guaranteed to have connecting rooms or rooms nearby. I recommend that if you booked your enchanted Disney vacation with either an Authorized Disney Travel Specialist or
Disney directly, you contact them and put in the connecting room request. If you booked with an Authorized Disney Travel Specialist you will have to make any changes through them. When you arrive on-site, make sure to visit the front desk to see if you do have connecting or nearby rooms, if not ask what they can do for you. For family suites, you may request rooms nearby or adjacent as there are no connecting rooms.
planDisney Pro Tip: The
Disney Skyliner has a terminal between Disney’s Pop Century Resort and
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort in the center of Hourglass Lake. To get to either EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios you have to transfer to
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort terminal. It can be very crowded in the morning at both terminals, so I recommend hopping on the Disney Skyliner about 45-60 minutes before you want to be in the theme parks.
