Hi Derek. Thanks so much for continuing to submit questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love hearing from you!
Based on another question you asked, I believe you might be considering staying at a value vs. moderate Resort hotel.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a Value Resort. Typically what you will find at the Value Resorts are large Resorts with bright colors and super kid friendly themes. The rooms include a mini-refrigerator and the suites include a kitchenette with coffee maker. The Moderate Resorts typically have larger rooms than the Value Resorts and a table service restaurant as well.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is my favorite Value Resort. It has themed areas including Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid. For anyone staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, I always encourage them to take a walking tour of the Resort hotel because there are countless photo opportunities throughout each themed area. My favorite photos are from the Cars area. Be sure to visit some of your favorite Cars friends in the Wheel Well Motor Court.
Landscape of Flavors is a huge quick service dining area that offers countless options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
My favorite part of Disney's Art of Animation Resort is The Big Blue Pool. It's the largest pool at Walt Disney World Resort and adds magic and pixie dust to an already wonderful vacation. The pool features underwater speakers and that will take you right into the world of Nemo. It's amazing. My kids were wowed and I was awed. The Imagineers truly took the pool to a new level.
Thank you again for your questions and let us know if you need any further information. We are so excited to help you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
