Does Art of Animation have a heated indoor pool? We are coming at the end of March. Should we pack shorts & Tshirts, or pants? Does Art of Animation have a kitchen for guests to use/heat up food? We're bringing most of our food to save money.

Hello April, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

From what I've seen on the news, I'd say you're ready for some warm weather up in North Carolina! March can be really unpredictable here in Central Florida, but I think by the time of your visit at the end of the month, you can expect mostly warm days. Just keep an eye on the forecast for the few days before you leave to be on the safe side. I'd pack a light sweater or jacket that you can toss into your park bag for cooler mornings and evenings, but otherwise, you should be able to enjoy breaking out those shorts and T-shirts!

If the weather cooperates and you want to take a dip, the Big Blue Pool at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, like all Walt Disney World Resort hotel pools, is an outdoor pool that's heated to 82 degrees.

Preparing some of your own meals in your room is a great way to stretch your budget. If you've booked one of the Family Suites in the Cars, Lion King or Finding Nemo sections of the resort, you'll have a kitchenette in your room with a sink, microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator, along with a dining area complete with table and four chairs (which also converts to a bed if you need extra sleeping space). You'll find toasters in the Landscape of Flavors food court for Guest use if you need them.

I hope this helps you make the most of your Walt Disney World vacation, April. Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions. We love to help!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
