Hiya, Nancy! Thanks for hopping back by planDisney with this question. Wrapped up in a sweatshirt and thick socks, the thoughts of Easter and spring are like a warm hug. I can close my eyes and imagine what it'd be like. Luckily, you won't be waiting long for the bees a-buzz and dandelion fuzz.
I checked with Cast Members about the availability of Easter baskets at
Disney's Art of Animation Ink & Paint Shop. They shared that merchandise would likely not be put in the shops until closer to the holiday, maybe two weeks before Easter. Until then, they can't tell me what they will have on their shelves. While you are waiting, there are several options you can explore to make sure the Easter Bunny has all the assistance needed.
You can shop at the
Disney Store and have your favorite Disney merchandise delivered to your resort. You can also use other online stores, like Amazon. Walt Disney World Resort's
shipping policies tell you to include the resort address, your name, the word "Guest," and your arrival date on the shipping label. When I used Amazon, it was delivered to the front desk so I incurred a $6 fee from the resort. If you use a service like this, pick the option to consolidate everything into the same delivery if you can. I needed something I could not get on Disney property, and the charge was less expensive and more convenient than taking time out of my vacation to find a local store.
You can also find some lovely Easter eggs and more at the parks and resorts. You will be visiting Walt Disney World during a magical time. Be sure to hop over to see the special
Easter egg displays and spring treats. These are a short
Skyliner jaunt from your resort to
Disney's Yacht Club Resort and
Disney's Beach Club Resort. Heading to Magic Kingdom? You can pop off the monorail at
Disney's Contemporary Resort and
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to complete this egg-cellent tour.
It is also
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! The park will be budding with gorgeous topiaries, seasonal treats, and my personal favorite: the butterfly garden. There is so much waiting for you as these spring breezes blow away the winter storms.
Hope your trip makes you a Happy Snowman!
