Greetings, Sandra!
Welcome to planDisney! I am so excited to hear that you are planning a stay at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The theming of this resort is so whimsical and is sure to bring a smile to your face. And you will have
access to the Disney Skyliner, so prepare for some breathtaking views. Getting over to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios feels more like a ride on an attraction than transport to your favorite park.
There are
two types of accommodations at this resort. The Little Mermaid Standard Rooms and a variety of themed family suites. The Little Mermaid rooms do have some connecting room availability. You can request to have connected rooms ahead of your stay
by reaching out to a friendly Cast Member with Tickets and Hotel Reservations. I also recommend stopping by the front desk when you arrive to mention this request. It is important to note that while Cast Members will do their best to accommodate requests, connecting rooms are not guaranteed. While the family suites do not offer connecting rooms, they do have a little more space to spread out and sleep six Guests. If you would like to request that your rooms be adjoining, but not connected, you can do this for both room types. Just note, The Little Mermaid Rooms and family suites are not located in the same buildings.
Be sure to set aside some time for mid-day pool breaks during your visit.
The Big Blue Pool is the largest at Disney World, and
has daily activities for everyone to enjoy. If you prefer to head to the parks early and spend the evening winding down at the hotel, you can
enjoy a Movie Under the Stars before resting up for your next big day of fun!
I hope your upcoming adventure is magical!
Tammy
