Hi all! Arriving in 1 wk!! I completed online check in and have received magic bands for our single night at POR & week at Boardwalk. Do we still need to check in at the desks or will we be notified when our rooms are ready via text message?

Hi Diana! Thanks for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your trip is almost here and now is when the excitement really starts to kick into high gear. Trust me, once you put your MagicBands on for your vacation, you won't want to take them off after!

Each time that I have completed Online Check-In and added my mobile phone number, I have always had my room number texted to me prior to my arrival. As long as you receive that magical text (which will include a link with a map of your Disney Resort hotel, so you know where you are going!), you can skip the Front Desk and head straight to your Disney Resort hotel room, open the door with your MagicBand as your key and get straight to exploring the Walt Disney World Resort!

I know you will enjoy your stays at both Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's BoardWalk Inn. Both of these resorts have unique themes (not to mention they're absolutely beautiful!), so make sure to allow yourself a little time to walk around and take it all in.
