We are arriving at Wilderness Lodge mid July. We stay there for 3 nights and then move to the Polynesian. If we purchase a beverage mug at Wilderness can it be used at the Ploynesian? Or is it better to wait until we are at the Polynesian to purchase?

    Hi Mary,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

I just returned from a “split stay” at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village and it was absolutely wonderful. I’m happy to report that we purchased our refillable mug at our first resort and that we were able to use it for refills at any Walt Disney World Resort hotel for the duration of our stay. Typically, that means that the mug is programmed to last 14 nights after its activation.

So, unless you’re staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for more than 11 additional nights, you should be good to go even if you purchase your mug during your stay at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge! If, however, you are staying for 11 nights or longer, please ask the Cast Member when you purchase your mug what your options are for a longer stay.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
