We will be arriving after our wedding the night before from Texas. And I wanted to know...is there a place on property we can cash our wedding gift checks? Or will it be better to have a family member to deposit them at our home bank?

    Hi there, Kelly!

    Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

The fan site DisneyDreams.net provides the following information:

"A full-service SunTrust Bank is located across the boulevard from the Downtown Disney Marketplace. Services include foreign currency exchange; traveler's checks, cashier's checks, money orders and emergency check cashing. Automatic Teller Machines are located in the MAGIC KINGDOM Park, Epcot, Disney Hollywood Studios, the DOWNTOWN DISNEY area (Marketplace, Pleasure Island and West Side), at the SunTrust Bank across the boulevard from the DOWNTOWN DISNEY area and in select WALT DISNEY WORLD Resorts (lobby area)."

That said, you will likely want a family member to deposit those gifts for you, after which time you can withdraw the finds using one of the many on-site automatic teller machines. Please be advised that fees are often assessed by the bank that owns the machine and/or your home financial institution.

    Happy honeymoon!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
