    We will be arriving in WDW in 3 weeks and was wondering if we would be receiving the new Magic Bands? Is this something you have to pay extra for or is it given to you at check in like the Key To The World?

    Hi, Kelly!

    Just three weeks until your vacation?  You must be so excited! 

    MagicBands are still in their testing phase at this point.  Only select guests are getting to try things out.  If you are selected, you will be notified and will be given instructions.   There are no additional costs to use the MagicBand, and they will be mailed to participating guests before they leave home.

    So for now, just rest easy and enjoy your familiar Key to the World cards when you arrive in Walt Disney World!  Have a magical vacation.
