    We will be arriving at WDW Tuesday, Oct. 26th and my 10 year old wants to know if they changed the tracks on Space Mountain? I know they closed it for refurbishment last year in 2009.

    Hi, Jose!   To the best of my knowledge, there has been no change to the track formation on Space Mountain.  Since the refurbishment, the changes I noticed were:

    -Interactive games were added to the Stand-by line
    -It might just be me, but it seems a bit darker on the attraction
    -A sound system was recently added.   It adds something to the experience!
    -As you exit the attraction, the walls were painted and there are some different displays

    Overall, if you did not know that Space Mountain was closed for refurbishment, I am not sure you would notice any of the changes.  That said, it is still an amazing attraction as you "zoom" into space!   Enjoy!
