    We will be arriving at WDW on Sunday August 19th, 2012. When can we begin to use our Deluxe Dining plan, and how will we access this if we cannot check in to the Riverside Resort before lunchtime? Our 180 day reservation window is quickly approaching:)

    Hi Tonya,

    Good news!  You can start using your Deluxe Disney Dining Plan first thing in the morning on your day of arrival at Walt Disney World.  Even though your room may not be ready until the afternoon, you can still stop by your resort early that day to pick up your Key to the World cards.  Your Disney Dining Plan credits will be connected to these cards.  As soon as the friendly Cast Member at Disney's Port Orleans Resort Riverside activates them for you, they are ready to be used.  So, if you want to use them to pay for breakfast and lunch the day of your arrival, you will be able to do so! 

    If you need any good recommendations for places to dine during your August vacation, just let us know!  We at the Moms Panel love to share what we know about the amazing range of options available at Disney's spectacular restaurants.
