Hi, we will be arriving to WDW Sat. 3/12 afternoon. We do not have tickets for this day. Where would be a good place to have dinner that night? We are surprising our 4 kids ages 7-3 with the trip and want something fun for them to do that night. Thanks

A favorite first night ritual for our family is dining at Chef Mickey's.

The Contemporary Resort is an exciting location for a first night activity. First, dine with Chef Mickey and friends at a delicious dinner buffet. It's always nice to get a meeting with Mickey accomplished on your first evening too!

During dinner, your kids will have noticed the monorail whizzing by. If you didn't arrive the hotel by monorail, take a round-trip monorail ride after your meal. You'll get a great tour of the Magic Kingdom resort area!

Have an early night back at your hotel for a swim or stop at the Polynesian Resort to watch the Wishes fireworks from the beach. Then get a good night's sleep before your first day in one of the WDW parks.

    Magical dreams!
