We'll be arriving at our WDW Resort b/n 8-9am. I want to go ahead and make character brkfst res's for that morning, then go directly to MK afterwards. Will we be able to do this and use the park's transport. system prior to checking in? How does that work?

    Hi Tracy!

Welcome to Walt Disney World and congratulations on your big upcoming vacation.  One of the many reasons I love Walt Disney World is because of the conveniences and amenities included for all Guests and the transportation system is a wonderful example.

All Guests, regardless if they are staying at a Disney owned hotel, have complimentary access to Disney's network of monorails, buses and boats.  Click here to view some Disney Transportation Frequently Asked Questions.

Therefore to answer your question, you may use the Walt Disney World transportation network as soon as you arrive.  You do not have to show your Magic Band nor do anything more than find the bus, monorail, or boat traveling to your destination.  It really is as lovely as it sounds.

Have a great time with your Character Breakfast Tracy!  You have chosen a great way to begin your MAGICAL vacation.  Please come back to the Disney Parks Mom Panel if you have any further vacation planning questions.

    Blessings,
    Brenda ºOº
