We will be arriving at WDW after the parks have already opened. Can we check our bags at the front desk if our room isn't available? I've done this at non-WDW resorts before, but wasn't sure what the rules were here.

    Hi Michaela,

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for sending us your question.  March is a beautiful time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, the weather is absolutely beautiful at that time of year.

When you arrive at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and your room isn't quite ready, you can most certainly leave your luggage at Bell Services to get a head start on your vacation.  Simply head over to Bell Services and they will store your luggage until you are ready to head back to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Room.  You have two options to retrieve your luggage upon your return to your Resort Hotel.  Either return to Bell Services and pick up your luggage yourselves or when you arrive in your room, call Bell Services and they will deliver your luggage directly to your room.

Another way to get to the magic more quickly is to utilize Disney's Online Check-In Service and Direct-To-Room Service.  Using My Disney Experience and complete the online check in process.  When you arrive at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, drop your luggage at Bell Services and go about your day.  You will receive communication that "your room is ready" and when the time comes head straight to your room and use your MagicBand or the My Disney Experience App to unlock your door.  It's that simple!

I hope you have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World Resort, Michaela.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
