Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    Arriving at WDW Nov.8th .We have a Character Breakfast booked at Animal Kingdom on Nov 11th ,for 8:25 Am .Staying at Movie Resort and was wondering if the bus leaves early enough that we can get to our Reservation in time.Thanks.

    Hi Lisa! This is a never ending concern when you have these early morning advanced dining reservations in the parks. Every visit to Walt Disney World finds me asking each resort I am at about the early bus transportation to the parks for this reason. I have been told that buses will begin running about 6:30am from the resorts but there have been many guests that have found themselves stranded or late due to buses not arriving at their resort.

    My strong suggestion to families who need to get somewhere quickly is to simply take $20 if possible and splurge and have your resort call for a taxi for you that morning. You can certainly take the Disney buses back but it will not only give you a few more minutes of sleep but also less stress waiting and wondering if you will arrive on time. A taxi will drop you off at the entrance to the Animal Kingdom park and then it will be a long walk to Tusker House which is where I am assuming your reservation is that morning. Do NOT wait in the long lines at the entrance but head to the right turnstiles where a cast member will have a list of those will early reservations. They will admit you in immediately and direct you in the direction you need to proceed.

    If you still wish to take a bus then talk with your resort front desk or concierge the day before to get the timing of the buses that will be running to the park character breakfasts. Be sure and let them know which park.  Be down at the stop by 7am that morning and be sure and let the driver know where you will need to go.  Enjoy!
