Arriving WDW 12/19/15. Was lucky to get free dining and am considering upgrading to Deluxe plan. Is it true you can use snack credits to purchase treats that can be taken home. If so what locations can you purchase these? I read that deluxe is too much foo

Hi, Tommy! Thank you for your question!

You can use Disney Dining Plan snack credits for more portable snack options. When we find ourselves with a few extra snack credits at the end of our trip, we have let our boys pick candy and snack items found at our Walt Disney World Resort hotel gift shop that they bring home for their friends. They are so excited to bring these home and their friends think it is so cool to receive magical goodies from Walt Disney World! You can also find fun portable snack credit options at many gift shops located within the Theme Parks and Disney Springs. My favorite place is Main Street Confectionery located right on Main Street U.S.A. inside Magic Kingdom Park.

    Have a magical day, Tommy!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
