We will be arriving at WDW on Dec.6th, by noon, I was wondering what we should do that evening? The MVMC is going on that evening, do you think that is a good way to start our week off there or should be save that for another night? Our daughter is 4.

Hi Stacy!  It sounds great to start a trip with a wonderful event like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party but I would not recommend doing that.  We had that plan a few years ago and ended up missing the party and losing our money.

Travel now days is not easy and in fact down right stressful!  Although you state you will arrive by noon you need to remember that your room might not be available until 3:00pm.  You might have to stay occupied versus resting until the room is ready to finally settle in and unpack.  Heading out for a long evening in a park might prove to be just too much. I would suggest a nice dinner close to your resort or even at Downtown Disney where you can return to your room easily when you desire.

Get a good first night sleep and then take off running for the next several days visiting all the parks and recreation spots!
