Montell, leading up to your arrival, you can use the My Disney Experience App to begin the online check-in process at your
Disney Resort hotel. It will prompt you to include some information and then successfully check you into your room. Once this is completed, there will be no need to stop by the front desk. On your check-in day, you will receive a notification via email or text to notify you that your room is ready. Once you arrive, you can head directly to your room and bypass any other steps.
Since you are arriving the morning after your check-in day, this is a bit unusual for what Guests normally do. However, since you are paying for the additional night before you arrive, this should hold your resort room, especially with performing the online check-in process. If you can, I would
call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line and speak to a Cast Member. It may be helpful for them to note this information on your account. They will also be able to tell you if there are any problems I am not forecasting with this plan.
