We are arriving in Walt Disney World on July 04, 2017, my question is, where do you suggest the best place we go for a special 4th of July celebration? If we will not go to the park yet, are there 4th of July events in Disney Springs? Thanks!

    Welcome, Mary June!

What a great day to arrive for your magical Walt Disney World Resort adventure! Where better to celebrate America's birthday than where dreams come true at the Most Magical Place on Earth?

While Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot have my favorite Fourth of July fireworks, depending on when you arrive, it may not make the most sense to visit a theme park that day. Another option would be the cookout experience available at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa on July 3rd and 4th. This celebration offers festive foods and a view of Magic Kingdom Park's Disney's Celebrate America! - A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky! You can find a few details about this event on the 4th of July at Walt Disney World Resort planning page, but you'll need to call Disney Dining for reservations. Last year they offered steak, shrimp, salads, sides and traditional kid's items, plus alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Happy Fourth, Mary June, and have a wonderful vacation!

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Colorado

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
