    We are arriving via Disney Express at Port Orleans-French Quarter January 10, 2014 and need to get to Shades of Green to pick up military park passes the next morning. Can you suggest the best way to get to Shades of Green without a car? Thanks

    Hi Jo!

         There are many options and I will give you two of the best and quickest. First, you can take a Disney bus from the Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter to the Magic Kingdom. When you get to the Magic Kingdom you can take the Resort Monorail (fastest) or a boat to the Polynesian Resort and then walk across the street to the Shades of Green Resort. This option will take at least 60 minutes or more but it will not cost you any money because you are using the Disney Transportation System. The second option would be to take a taxi directly from the French Quarter to the Shades of Green Resort.  This option will be the quickest, but it will cost around $20.00.
