Hi Alison!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am excited to see you are already planning your Walt Disney World holiday for next year! You have plenty of time to plan your trip - come back and visit us here if you have any questions at all. The good news is that the number of days of park tickets does not have to match the number of nights of your Disney Resort hotel reservation. For 15 nights, you will actually be at Walt Disney World for 16 days, including your arrival and departure days, and a 14-day ticket will only cover your park visits for 14 of those days, and my top tip is to activate and use the ticket on the second day of your holiday (the day after your arrival day) as it must be used for 14 consecutive days from the first day of use. Your arrival and departure day will then be the only days (and they are not whole days) that are not covered for theme park visits, but you can spend more time at the Resort hotel, enjoy use of the pool, or visit
Disney Springs for some shopping and dining (where no admission ticket is required). Of course, it is entirely up to you when you use your tickets for the first time.
The 7, 14 and 21-day Ultimate Tickets (available exclusively to guests from the UK) not only offer really good value, but they also give us the flexibility of park hopping around the four theme parks and two water parks - Disneys Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach. These tickets also include
Memory Maker, where we can access
Disney's PhotoPass Photographers around the parks for photos of all those iconic locations, and at that exact moment when we are screaming on some of the rides, and at select character dining experiences.
Wishing you a magical holiday to Walt Disney World!
~ Sue
