Hi, Emilie!
Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Hooray-- your family’s pixie-dusted vacation is about to begin! I hope you’re all looking forward to the magical moments that await you at the Happiest Place on Earth.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa does not offer in-room babysitting services, and there is not an on-site childcare facility at the Disneyland Resort Hotels or inside the theme parks. However, once you arrive at your hotel, please stop by the Front Desk for information about private, third-party providers you can hire to care for your little one during your visit.
Keep in mind that parents can take advantage of
Rider Switch, which allows Guests with young children to take turns experiencing
attractions. One adult can ride while the other adult waits with any children who don’t meet the minimum height requirement. They then "swap" so the second adult can enjoy the attraction without waiting in the standby queue all over again!
I hope this information helps, Emilie, and that your
Disneyland Resort adventures are all you’ve been dreaming. Please don’t hesitate to send us more vacation planning questions in the future!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
