arriving on 9/23 thru 9/28. Stay at All Star Movies Resort. On 9/25 we will be spending the day at Disney Hollywood Studios. We have a diner reservation at 6pm at the Rainforest Cafe in Down town Disney. How do we get there from DHS?.. thank you

    Hi there, Margaret!

There are a few different options to get from Disney's Hollywood Studios [DHS] to the Downtown Disney [DD] area. The Disney buses don't go directly to Downtown Disney from the Theme Parks, so you'll have to grab a bus to one of the Resorts first and then transfer to a Downtown Disney bus. I'll give you a couple of different options and you can pick your favorite!

    • Take a boat from DHS to Disney's Yacht or Beach Club Resort then transfer to a DD bus.
    • Take a bus to any Walt Disney World Resort and transfer to a DD bus.
    • My VERY favorite route is to take a bus from DHS to Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter and transfer to a boat to DD. This is such a beautiful ride and it will take you about 40 minutes not including wait time.
I always recommend allowing 90 minutes for travel just in case you have to wait for a bus or boat, plus, you'll want to factor in walking to the Rainforest Cafe after you arrive at DD.

This sounds like such a great day, Margaret! You guys are going to have a ball! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question and please let us know if you have any others that we can help with!

    Have a Pixie Dusted vacation!
