Arriving 2/9. Have a three-day ticket purchased as part of a room-discount package. Might want to upgrade to the 4-day 4-park special ticket now being offered. Must I do that before using the 3-day ticket or can I change it say, on 2nd day of trip? Thanks

Hi Jacqueline! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Only THREE days stand between you and your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Yay! I’ll admit that I’m a little jealous that your countdown is so close! I know you will have a magical vacation!

Walt Disney World theme park tickets can be upgraded (not downgraded) as long as the tickets have not expired and there is at least one day remaining on the ticket. Since your ticket is part of an already discounted/Special Offer package, you may not be able to take advantage of the special ticket promotion, so I suggest you inquire about the difference that you will need to pay in order to add the extra day once you arrive for your vacation. It sounds like you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel and this can be done at the Lobby Concierge Desk very easily! This way, you will have the most current information and the exact cost. Then, you can decide if the upgrade is right for you ... of course, in my opinion you really can't go wrong with an extra day at “The Most Magical Place on Earth!”

I hope this information helps, Jacqueline! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
