We will be arriving with three small children and a teen In june. Just wondering if there are places for small children to play and possibly splash while at magic Kingdom, since it will be hot and many of the play areas are closed due to the expansion? TY

    Hi Jennifer!

I wish I could answer your question with a yes, but right now there aren't any areas in the Magic Kingdom with water features.  Donald's Boat was closed due to the expansion.  A small place to play is just outside the Winnie the Pooh attraction.  They can run around in treehouse or play in the interactive section in the line queue.  It is disappointing that there are no playgrounds like there were in Toontown, but the new expansion to Fantasyland promises to bring huge smiles to the kids faces. I can't wait!  Another great attraction is Tom Sawyer's Island.  It is mostly shaded and is a huge area for your kids to run around and discover the island.  You can always pick up a spray fan to help cool off.  The June heat can a bit uncomfortable.

    Have a magical day!
