    we are arriving at teh Contemporary on 16th Sept and have order Photo +, We are going on the Pirate fireworks cruise that night, where ca we redeem our voucher so that we can start having our pictures taken or will the photographer give us a card then?

    Your Walt Disney World vacation is just around the corner! How exciting!

    I absolutely love using Disney's PhotoPass Service. There's just no easier way to ensure that you capture many memories of the whole family together and all of those 'magical' Disney moments! Activating your PhotoPass+ prior to your Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage is quite easily done! Although there is no Disney's PhotoPass location at Disney's Contemporary Resort, there are several locations that are close by and easy to get to on your arrival day without needing to enter a park.

    Simply jump onto the Monorail and visit one of the other Deluxe Resort locations nearby which have a Disney's PhotoPass location. One of these is inside Disney's Polynesian Resort, adjacent to Trader Jack's in the main lobby of the Great Ceremonial House. This location's hours are 8am-noon and again from 5pm-9pm daily. I was advised by the Cast Members at Trader Jack's that while these are the 'posted' hours, most often, the PhotoPass Desk has a Cast Member present for some of the afternoon as well. There is also a PhotoPass location in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort which operates under similar hours as listed above.

    You might consider having your Concierge or a Front Desk Cast Member at Disney's Contemporary Resort call the Polynesian or Grand Floridian Resort to confirm the PhotoPass desk's hours before you jump onto the Resort Monorail.

    If this will be your first time trying the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage, you're in for quite a treat! It's by far one of my family's favourite 'extra' experiences to enjoy during our visits to Walt Disney World.
