    We are arriving on 2-24 and staying at the Contemporary! Will it be warm enough to swim? are the pools heated?

    Hi Colleen,

    Our February weather in Florida is usually mild and sunny, though we can have occasional cold snaps during the month.

    Of course, cold to us may not be the same as cold to our friends up North. We pulled out our sweaters and boots last week when the high temps dropped into the 50s.

    The pools at the Contemporary are heated, and guests swim year-round.

    Just because the calendar says it's winter, don't forget the sunscreen, especially in pool. It's easy to get a sunburn here, even on what we Floridians consider a nippy, sweatshirt day.
