I am arriving 4/28 staying at the contemporary resort. I understand I can order a cake to eat at participating restaurants, but I am looking for a cake or cupcakes to deliver to the hotel. What are options in Disney or outside vendor to order in advance?

Hi there, Christine! Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for stopping by with a question! I’d be so happy to help you plan a special celebration for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! Adding a bit of additional pixie dust to what is surely to be a magical adventure will be the icing on the cake… pun intended!

As you are already aware of, Disney-themed cakes can be ordered to your table at participating Walt Disney World restaurants. However, if you wish for your special treat to be delivered to your Disney Resort Hotel room, look no further than Disney Floral & Gifts to make your dreams a reality! They offer so many options to make any special occasion come to life, including custom options tailored to your needs and preferences!

Christine, I have no doubt that you will be able to find what you need via Disney Floral & Gifts. However, another option is to have a cake delivered from a local grocer via a service such as Instacart. This would also allow you to order other necessities, and claiming your delivery in the lobby of your hotel would be free of charge. If you wish for Bell Services to deliver your groceries to your Resort Hotel room, a fee of $6 applies for each order.

I sincerely hope that you have a magical trip and celebration, Christine, and please do not hesitate to come back to see us again anytime we can help again in the future! It would be our pleasure!

    Happy travels!
