Hello, we will be arriving and staying at The Art of Animation on October 20th. Which we are so excited about! Will any of the new Fantasy Land be opened? I was hoping some of it would be up and running. Thank for your help!

    Hi Brian!

One or two new attractions might be open as a "preview" or "soft opening" when you come.  A preview is usually something that only lasts for a few hours or a few days, while a soft opening usually means that it is up and running but that it can close at any time; basically both of these terms mean that the attraction is not officially open.  However, Disney sometimes lets guests into an attraction before the official opening so that Disney can gain experience operating the attraction, collect guest feedback, perform tweaking, etc.  Thus you should definitely keep your eyes open when you visit the Magic Kingdom.   However, it might be the case that a new attraction is only open for an hour or two each day and there is no announcement when it will be open.  This recently happened  with the new attraction "Enchanted Tales with Belle".  For some previews, you literally have to be at the right place at the right time.

I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you, but I hope this helps!  Good luck and please write back with more questions!
