We are arriving for a stay at the Yacht Club on Jan. 3rd-10th. My daughter recently celebrated her 15th birthday in December. Is it appropriate to celebrate her birthday in Disney with pins and such a month after her birthday?

    Hi Amy,

Disney's Yacht Club Resort is one of my favorites and I am thrilled to hear you will be vacationing there so soon. Not only is it completely appropriate to celebrate your daughter's birthday during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, it's a positively perfect idea. Disney Park vacations can be far a few between for many, so why not celebrate as much as you can in the magic?

Along with the "Happy Birthday" pin you can receive from any Guest Relations location, you can also call and have them add a note to your resort reservation and any advance dining reservations. If you'd like to plan a little extra to surprise her completely I recommend visiting the Disney Floral & Gifts website. There you will find all sorts of treats and experiences to make her trip extra special.

Have an incredible vacation, Amy. Please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with. From all of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, happy belated birthday to your teen princess!

    Magical Wishes,

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family: graduations, pregnancies, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, reunions, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon. I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help add a little extra Pixie Dust to your next magical adventure. Learn More About Lauren
