    We are arriving sooner than planned and are trying to add a night to our hotel. We will not be in until 11pm so I was hoping they could add on a night for us

     Welcome to planDisney, Melissa. I'm so glad you stopped by! It looks like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just about to begin. That's super exciting!

     Arriving to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel a bit earlier than planned means you can enjoy a little extra magic during your stay. How great is that? You may be able to add an additional night to your stay through your My Disney Experience account. Start by logging into your account on the Walt Disney World Resort website. Hover over the My Disney Experience tab on the homepage and select "My Plans" from the drop-down menu that appears. Scroll down your planning page until you see your Disney Resort hotel reservation information listed. You may see an option to modify the reservation. If you do, go ahead and follow the prompts to book the additional night. If you don't, not to worry! Simply call the Reservation Team at (407) 939-1936. A friendly Cast Member there will be happy to assist you!

     It's possible that there may not be availability for an extra night at your Disney Resort hotel this close to your arrival date. If that's the case, consider booking one night at a different Disney Resorts Collection hotel! Booking two (or more!) Disney Resort hotel reservations in a single vacation is called a split-stay, and it's an awesome way to experience the unique amenities and theming of different Disney Resort hotels. My family once had a reservation at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and like you, our plans changed a bit and we were going to arrive a day earlier than we anticipated. Rather than booking an extra night at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, we opted to book just one night at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. It was amazing! We arrived too late in the evening to do much exploring, but the next day we took full advantage of the super fun pool, the incredible views of the savanna, and the delicious dining options at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge before moving over to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. The best part? Bell Services transferred our luggage for us!
