    Hi . We are arriving soon and have saved some gifts cards for our upcoming trip. My question is can we use then to pay down our balance at the resort prior to last day of our stay or do we need to use them strictly for purchases during our vacation

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

    I’m happy to report that I recently used Disney Gift Cards to pay for the charges on my account during my last stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Although you’ll still need to put a valid credit card on file, you can absolutely go to the Lobby Concierge in order to clear your balance with gift cards prior to your departure. 

    If you think your balance is getting close to your resort spending limit, make sure to put the gift cards towards your balance as soon as possible to avoid getting your credit card charged instead. Don’t forget that you can always ask the Lobby Concierge for a printout of your charges during your stay.
