We are arriving on September 7 and will be staying at the All Star Movies. Are the renovation complete? If not which buildings are already renovated? We would like to stay at the newly renovated rooms, can we request this?

    Hi Emmanuel!

Thanks for your question. Disney's All-Star Movies Resort is a great resort for the entire family! I particularly love the giant-sized characters that stand next to or in front of the various building complexes (Woody and Buzz Lightyear at the Toy Story building complex are always my favorite :-)

I talked with Disney Guest Services and they said the renovations are still on-going, and at this time they have no estimated date for completion. In terms of buildings, I was only able to get that the buildings are done in phases, but not which buildings are currently being renovated nor the time frames in they're scheduled to finish. In terms of recommending to stay in a renovated room/building, it certainly wouldn't hurt to ask (Guest Services would add a note to your reservation), although I will caution that there are no guarantees that they'll be able to accommodate this special request.

Disney Guest Services are always willing to help guests make their stay at Disney as seamless and magical as possible. You may contact them at (407) 939-1936 for any additional reservation questions regarding All-Star Movies Resort and current renovations.

Thanks again, and enjoy your stay at Disney World. You're less than a month away! :-)
