Hi, Katherine! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
I'm so excited to hEAR that you'll be surprising your girls with a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation in just a couple of weeks! My husband and I pulled off a surprise trip for our little Mouseketeers once. Our big "We're going to Walt Disney World!" reveal is a memory I'll always treasure.
During the
phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort, things may look a bit different from your last visit, but I can assure you that the magic is still there. Although some experiences such as
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique are currently not available, there are plenty of ways to make this visit special for your little princesses. During your upcoming visit, you can expect to
encounter your favorite Disney characters in new and exciting ways. If your girls are hoping to catch a glimpse of their favorite Disney Princesses, be on the lookout for the Royal Princess Processional as it makes its way through
Magic Kingdom Park. If you will be visiting World Showcase in
EPCOT, your girls also might have the chance to wave to some of their favorite characters during the Frozen Promenade or the Princess Promenade.
Allowing your girls to choose a new princess dress is another great way to add a little extra pixie dust to their vacation. You will likely be able to find Disney Princess costumes in a wide variety of
retail locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort.
World of Disney at
Disney Springs is my go-to spot for all of my souvenir shopping, and they typically have a great selection of princess dresses. If a visit to Disney Springs does not fit into your vacation itinerary, I would recommend taking a look at the
Emporium or
Sir Mickey's at Magic Kingdom Park. At these shops, your girls are sure to find dresses to make the dreams that they wish come true!
Once your daughters are all dressed up in their new gowns, might I suggest a meal fit for royalty?
Cinderella's Royal Table will once again welcome Guests beginning on September 24, 2020. Although the Disney Princesses will be taking a break from their royal duties greeting Guests, dining in this regal setting still promises to be quite a memorable experience. Reservations for Cinderella's Royal Table can be made online or using the
My Disney Experience mobile app beginning on September 11, 2020.
Wishing you and your princesses a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Samantha
