Hi Moms, arriving on 20 Sept but our accom has been mixed up at the travel agent...instead of 8 nights at compempory we now have 4 nights at beach club and 4 nights at contemporary. Will the transfer from one resort to the next be seamless and hassle free?

Hi, Damian! You know, sometimes the best experiences we've had on vacation as a family started off as a "mistake." This just may be the case with you! The Beach Club and The Contemporary are my two favorite resorts on WDW property, and you're staying at both!

The Beach Club is only steps away from Epcot and a boat ride to Hollywood Studios. It boasts an enormous sand-bottom pool with a lazy river and a gigantic, pirate-ship water slide. Plus, the BC houses some of the most delectable dining on the property such as a character meal at Cape May Cafe and the Yachtsman Steakhouse.  And, the Boardwalk is just across the way!

The Contemporary is fantastic because it's the only resort where you can walk to the Magic Kingdom, and it's dining choices are equally fantastic. Chef Mickey's will be just downstairs from your Tower room, and the award-winning California Grill sits atop the resort. The watersports recreation is unparalleled, and you can see the MK fireworks as well as the Electrical Water Pageant right from the resort.

When you arrive, make sure your front desk as well as bell services is aware of your resort switch during the middle of your stay. Then, on the day of your switch, pack your bags and make arrangements for them to transfer your luggage to your new resort. As a tip, you may want to make this a non-ticketed "resort" day. You can schedule a character breakfast, hang by the pool and then, take resort transportation to Downtown Disney. After your visit there, simply take a bus to your new resort. (Of course, you can also do this at any theme park or water park, too!)  It's that simple!

Let me know if you have more questions. I'd be happy to help! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
