we are going to be arriving on saturday to WDW. We have a handycaped adult and a four year old child. We would like to know if there is a way to find specific times and events for the themes in your parks. We want to do as much as possible, but need a plan

    Hi Amanda,

Thanks for writing.  Guests travelling with family members with disabilities often report back that Disney is a very user-friendly destination for their special families.  I hope you all have a magical vacation.  Depending upon the nature of the disability, you may want to stop by Guest Relations at whichever park you visit first to request a Guest Assistance Card, which will help facilitate a "smoother" experience in many instances.  In some cases, for example, you would be able to access attractions via an alternate, accessible entrance with a shorter wait time.

I also recommend clicking HERE for more specific and detailed information for guests travelling with disabilities.

As for determining the times of the parks openings, closings and special events such as parades and fireworks, click HERE for the parks calendar.

Happy planning and have a wonderful trip!

Feel free to write back with more specific questions, and I would be happy to help!
