Hi there Lisa,
Thanks for revisiting planDisney with another great
Disney Vacation Club question. I'm always happy to chat with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member and assist with vacation planning.
It looks like your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner - you'll be relaxing at
Disney's Old Key West Resort in no time. There's no better place to enjoy a slower pace! My family adores the laid-back community of Conch Flats and my daughters rate the 125-foot-long Sandcastle waterslide as one of their top waterslides at Walt Disney World Resort. We love spending time in the
Sandcastle Pool steps from Hospitality House and the dock where you can hop aboard a complimentary water taxi to Disney Springs.
Speaking of water activities, Disney Vacation Club Members used to enjoy pool hopping at all DVC resorts but unfortunately, this privilege is still suspended. However, Guests staying at Disney's Old Key West have access to the resort's four pools: the 149,000-gallon main pool or quiet pools in the Old Turtle Pond, South Point and Miller's Road sections. Each pool features a whirlpool spa, and if you explore the resort's iconic Lighthouse, you'll find a dry sauna inside!
As you can see, Disney's Old Key West Resort offers a wide variety of pools for its guests to enjoy! All pools provide complimentary towels, and if you're travelling with small children, you can request complimentary lifejackets if they are not already available at the pool.
Lisa, I hope this information helps with your vacation planning. Happy packing and safe travels - have a wonderful vacation at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Welcome Home,
Candace
