Hi, Sandra!
To dine inside a theme park, a valid park admission is required. But Hakuna Matata! No Worries! There are so many fabulous dining locations outside the theme parks so you can still have a great dinner to kick off your vacation.
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort is always a family favorite. Mickey and his pals will be there to take pictures and sign autographs as you enjoy a delicious buffet. After dinner, head to the 4th floor observation deck for a great view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks.
Reservations are a must for Chef Mickey's.
For a wonderful quick service meal, head to
Disney Springs where you can dine at many excellent walk-in locations such as Wolfgang Puck Express or Earl of Sandwich. You can then spend the evening strolling Disney Springs for shopping, dessert, and entertainment. (No admission cost for Disney Springs.)
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club (Boardwalk area) is perfect for burgers, ice cream, and if you are brave enough, the enormous Kitchen Sink for dessert! (Reservations highly suggested.)
Wherever you decide to eat your first night, I hope it is magical! Get to bed at early as you have many full days of fun ahead of you. Enjoy!
Cathy
