We will be arriving at Port Orleans on 11/14 around 11am and going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas at 4:00p. Assuming our rooms wont be available...what would be a great lunch destination... (we will be hungry as we are leaving home at 4:30am

Hi, Stephanie!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You have chosen a wonderful time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort.  Two of my favorite events, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, will be taking place during your vacation.  You have also selected the perfect place to stay.  Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter are two of my favorite resort hotels.  Both of these resorts have such a quaint and peaceful atmosphere.  They are the perfect place to relax after a day of fun at the theme parks.

If your room is not quite ready when you arrive at your resort hotel, Bell Services will be happy to store any bags you might have so that you can go and enjoy some lunch.  You are in luck because you have some delicious dining options very close by.  If you wish to stay at the Disney's Port Orleans Resorts, Boatwright's Dining Hall and Riverside Mill Food Court can both be found at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.  Over at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory serves up tasty meals and treats, including their famous beignets.

If you'd like to take a short boat ride down the Sassagoula River, Disney Springs has a wide array of incredible dining options.  If you'd like to make reservations for a table-service meal, Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' and The BOATHOUSE are two of my favorite Disney Springs Restaurants.  If you'd rather just grab a quick bite to eat, you can't go wrong with The Polite Pig or D-Luxe Burger.

I hope you enjoy your arrival day lunch, as well as the rest of your magical vacation!  See ya real soon!
