    Arriving at POR-FQ this November. Do you know how you get assigned a Royal Guest Room? I did not see that as an option when making my reservations...

    Hi Jeana,

    Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter are sister resorts.

    Port Orleans French Quarter rooms were renovated as of April of 2011. These are standard rooms themed to the resort. They now have two queen beds. No royal rooms are at this resort.

    Port Orleans Riverside has begun renovations on standard rooms themed to the resort.

    The extra special, Royal Themed guest rooms will be located at Port Orleans Riverside and are available for booking after February 12, 2012.

    So, royal rooms are not available yet and when they are they'll only be at Port Orleans Riverside.

    Port Orleans French Quarter is a charming resort. Have a wonderful vacation!
