    We will be arriving at Pop Century on Thanksgiving day 2011 and want to visit the Polynesian that night to watch Wishes on the beach. What time is a good time to arrive at the Polynesian, and what is our best choice/route of Disney transportation?

    I think your plan to watch Wishes from the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort is brilliant!  That's my favorite fireworks viewing spot in all of Walt Disney World.  You can even catch the Electrical Water Pageant from that vantage point.

    Since Wishes is scheduled for 10 pm on Thanksgiving Day, I would plan to be at the Polynesian no later than 9 pm.  That will give you time to browse through the Bou-tiki in the Great Ceremonial House and then grab a treat (like a dole whip) in Capt. Cook's before heading out to the beach. 

    The best (and most fun) way to get to Disney's Polynesian Resort from Disney's Pop Century is to board a Magic Kingdom-bound bus at your home resort.  When you arrive at the Magic Kingdom, hop on the resort monorail or a boat to Disney's Polynesian Resort.  Allow yourself one hour from your point of origin to your destination.
